Ferrari is the Italian organization well-recognized for manufacturing sports cars. This corporation created the lower end of the company’s range in 1970s and 1980s by manufacturing the mid-engine sports auto Ferrari 308.

Ferrari 308 was introduced for the first time in the Paris motor show in 1975. This car replaced its predecessor model Dino 246. It was the 1st two seated V8 engine road vehicle manufacturer by Ferrari.

Ferrari 308 was offered in two models Ferrari GTB and Ferrari GTS. GTB had a solid roof and slightly greater rigidity. It was 1st introduced in 1975. Yet another model GTS was accessible in removable roof panel and was introduced in 1977. The removable roof panel was made of covered fiberglass. The 3 generations of Ferrari 308 had been 308, 308i and 308qv. Minor modifications were created in the engine and styling of the cars in each generation. Original 308 had carbureted engine even though it was fuel injected in 308i. In 308qv, the engine was fuel injected with four valves per cylinder.

Ferrari 308 was accessible in three generation models viz. Ferrari 308, Ferrari 308i and Ferrari 308qv.
